Those of us living in Southern California were treated to a pretty good one earlier today.
I am at work in Long Beach and we really felt it here. However there does not appear to be any damage here and we are all fine.
I am worried about the things in my house since it is closer to the epicenter. I guess I'll find out when I get there.
Hope all of our other So Ca members are doing ok too.

We're all okay out here, Suzanne. We really felt it here, too. Hope you didn't have anything shaken off the shelves at your place.

I saw it on the internet a few minutes ago - glad to hear you are okay, and hopefully everyone else is as well.

We felt it for about 60 seconds out here in Chatsworth about 60 miles from the epicenter! The nearby Macy's had merchandise being thrown around a little! But we're all in good shape and glad that the earth's stress has been relieved a bit.

This one was pretty scary. I had taken one of my furbabies to the vet and we'd just gotten home. At the moment it happened, I was in the bathroom washing her behind in the sink. I just remember thinking that it was going to be the "Big One. Nothing damaged except my nerves...temporarily.

I'm sorry about the earthquake, but ouiparis...but I'm still working on your furbaby issue "...washing her behind...". Um, why???

Glad to hear everyone is ok. I did think of you when I heard the news yesterday . As for "washing the dogs bottom"...........that's kind of like a Kennedy moment LOL."I remember where I was when...."

At least the dog wouldn't be worried by the quake, as he or she would be too busy concentrating on the indignities being perpetrated at the rear end!
