Annette - I am soooooooooooooo thrilled for you and your family. He's very lucky to have you as his grandma. He looks like such a precious bundle of joy, and he's a good size. Before you know it, he'll be ready to take his first trip to Paris. ;D

Thanks everyone! Yes, he is a big boy--his size surprised everyone (including the doctor!). I wish pictures could show how sweet and precious he really is...I was head over heels in love the second I saw him . It was so amazing to be in the delivery room when he was born--words can't describe the flood of thoughts and emotions that came. Being a grandma is fabulous! ;D Oh Sis, I know where I'll be shopping in Paris, too! Overalls?! I'll add them to the list, Gitte! And Shoesy, we've actually already discussed applying for his passport! I sure have a lot of catching up to do for missing 2 days here--it looks like you all have been very busy! ;D Maybe I can sneak the laptop down to my daughter's house and catch up. I'll be staying with them for a few days until they get the hang of things. It's amazing how much of it comes natural tho--they are going to be great parents. But in the mean time, I'm eating up the fact that they seem to want and need my help! ;D

Oh Annette! Baby Van is a stunner, mind you with such a glamorous granny how could he not be? Be prepared to cry buckets because that deep feeling of love is just so much more intense for the grandchildren. Grandsons first visit to see santa (cry), grandsons first steps (cry) first school concert (cry)...........Now I love my girls to bits but I don't remember ever feeling so emotional as I do with Blake. Many many congratulations to you all, I am so pleased for you. Cyber glass is raised to say "Welcome baby Van". ;D

Toutes mes félicitations Annette !
I have been thinking on you on Bastille Day, "Annette's grandson must be born now", but obviously he'd rather wait a bit longer .
He is a very cute baby, no reddish face like many newborns, including mine .
