This rue seems to be a favourite so may I post my little visit a couple of years ago I had eaten well on rue Custine and wandered round Montmartre and was waslking out down rue Lepic taking in all the landmarks The windmill As I continued I could hear a band, and soon met this motley crew This turned out to be a wedding procession Here is the main dish And some followers, sorry it is shaky, but I am waving back vigorously To get back to reality i found this stencilled on the wall further down Another marvellous Paris memory. Sorry the pics are too large, I must learn not to be so impatient. (write out 100 times)

Mossie, these pics illustrate one of the most fun things to do in Paris, for me anyway. I just find something that seems interesting, be it a road, a "motley crew" or a wonderful smell and follow it. You just never know what you'll find! Thanks for posting them.

Thank you for posting these pictures, Mossie. Isn't it great to be walking around and running into something special, like a wedding? Adds a little something to a great adventure!

I love rue Lepic, it's just what you expect Montmartre to be like. Also I met a very beautiful ginger cat there on Friday last I did take photos but doubt they'll be as exciting as these ones! Thank you for sharing them.
