I just stumbled by chance over this agency (in my never ending search for the perfect vacation rental) - and I nearly fell off the chair to see how elegantly they are decorated. So here are some more options for you. This is what I found: HOLIDAYS FRANCE RENTALS

Too expensive for the way I prioritize my vacation budget, but certainly not totally out of reach for us "ordinary people", especially if you are a couple. About 1000 € for a week for a nice 1-bedroomer. And dreaming is free-of-charge, right ?

Perhaps others could supplement with more links for stylish, elegant apartments ? I know that to many members the interior décor means a lot, so why not make our own database ?

Check out this one: www.chezvous.com/apartments.php?id=4. I have not stayed there myself (heard about it from friends who stayed there several years ago - price seems to have risen dramatically in the last couple of years). And for reason explained elsewhere, I stopped renting from Chez Vous when I found Guest Apartment Service. But, all that said, this is a really beautiful place in an ideal location.
