sunshine, we have had an earlier lingerie thread click here , but I will just give you this one to recommend for the ULTIMATE support and beautiful exclusive design: PrimaDonna Click for PRIMADONNA and for MORE PRIMADONNA Mine is "Deauville" And here's "une bonne adresse" in Paris where full-bosomed girls like us can get all the "support" we need..... Click LAURE SOKOL . Click "Soutiens gorge" and then "Classique/Invisible". LOOK HERE . I am crazy about that turquoise set - mostly because the bra seems to have an AMAZING fit (which is in fact the hallmark of PrimaDonna).

I've solved the problem!I just don't wear one unless absolutely needed for a particular dress or sweater! The girls are not droopy and like breathing without restriction!

Wow, super weird thread,, since I think I may have sparked some of this talk with lovers and bras,, what I mean is,,
I have about 5 bras. They are black, white, skin tone, skin tone and navy. I think I am being wild sexy crazy with one navy bra,, LOL If I was a young single girl, I would perhaps invest a bit more in a few more attractive bras, and a little less in flannel..LOL

ps
I think petit breasts are best.. wish I had some.. not needing to wear a bra would be a treat.
Those of you who have had to wear a bra on a 12 hour flight know exactly what I mean,, not comfy..

I haven't laughed so hard for ages. Thanks all for adding so much laughter to my day!
Don't know where to start <g>!
Joan, I think the fact that you have multiple locations and activites adds to your packing challenge, as well as going in the summer. I don't generally travel in hot weather, and when it's cooler, being able to layer clothing helps minimize the number of pieces needed.
I take the same amount of clothing whether the trip is for a week or a month. Like Annette and Sistereurope, my hard and fast packing rule is that every basic piece must work with every other piece. Also, like many, I work with a dark basic (black) almost exclusively and add scarfs for color. If I take an accent color, I only take one. If I need something else or decide I can't handle another day of primarily black, I buy something in a bright solid, and it becomes a Paris memento.
Like Happygoin, I limit footwear to two pairs of shoes, or if it's cold, one pair of shoes and one pair of boots, both black to go with everything and my one black purse. Both pair have to be great for walking, and one must work for evenings. (The strappy sandals stay at home.)
Demarais, loved your tip on putting your shoes inside your husband's shoes. Unfortunately, when we go to France my husband usually takes only the pair he wears and buys another while he's there.
I take minimal cosmetics, creams, etc. and have found some great brands in Paris as a result. If you don't know of it, check out the discount pharmacy City-Pharma at 26, rue du Four in the 6th. Ph : 01 46 33 20 81. It generally offers a 30% discount on most products and is open Mon - Fri 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sat - 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Métro: St Germain or Mabillon.
Also count me among those who love to rent apartments but never use them for cooking. The closest we come is an occasional evening when we may do take out, e.g., a rotisserie chicken. So the only appliance directions we generally end up reading are likely to be the ones for the interminably long washer/dryer cycles. Then there was the year that Don forgot the cycle was still in progress and opened the door -- of the front-loading machine. But that's another story (and an off topic one).
Anyway, have a great trip, Joan!
Jo

Thanks Jo, I will,,, as long as I don't put my back out. I have finally decided, it ALL comes, what I have now managed to shoe horn into the bag, stays in the bag.

Ladies, I just wanted to report that I got my new shipment of Prima Donna bras two weeks ago and I am in heaven. They are beautiful, they fit like a dream, my clothes look great and I look pounds thinner without sacrificing a single chocolate.
Suzanne, you should be able to find them in Southern California, many of the better lingerie shops carry them. The only difficulty I have is when I find a style that fits, I want to buy several, and my lingerie store is not the least interested in ordering them for me, so I buy the one they have and order the rest from England.
Gitte- if you are ordering on-line, do be careful with using Prima Donna's website as an absolute guide. They seem to be keeping the pattern of the bra, thank heaven, but slightly changing the motifs and colors while calling the style the same name. Deauville on the website has two different toplines as you scroll through the colors. I ordered a Santa Cruz in vanilla, which is shown as peach (and it was as I already own one), but when the new one arrived it was barely ecru. A very small quibble, but I was a little surprised.

AH!! Maison, you just named my favorite shopping place in Paris. I drop off my luggage , check in, get my CO and head to Cite-Pharma as my first Paris experience every time we go. I hate that I now have to pack my R&G Gingembre cologne in the 16 oz bottlers in my checked luggage!

Thanks for the "Support" Sunshine!!!
As for the sex life...if you live with your lover..things I imagine are a little different than if you do not see each other that often..like in a L---o---n---g distance relationship!!! As you, my dear Gitte, have said yourself in the past!!!!
Right now..TMI???..I'm wearing a "minimizer" because I'm wearing a t-shirt going to a famiy picnic...would not be my choice were I having dinner with S/O!!!
Ooops..missed a page before I replied!!!!
