Just found out there is another big antiques market when we are in Paris. This one is at Hippodrome de Longchamps. Since you are the resident Longchamps expert can you tell me how to get there and if the hippodrome is at the race course?

I'm not Denise, but I went to the Longchamp racecourse last year. It was very easy. You have to take a bus or the 10 metro line to porte d'Auteuil. At the roundabout, there was a bus stop were free buses ("Navette") departed. As far as I know, "Hippodrome" is just the same as "Race course". I was reading at the Longchamp website that the free buses run only on weekends and holidays. www.france-galop.com/Longchamp.30+M52087573ab0.0.htmlIf it's on a week day: * 244 Maillot - Suresnes, arrĂȘt "Carrefour de Longchamp" * 244N Auteuil - Suresnes, arrĂȘt "Carrefour de Longchamp" Carrefour de Longchamp is just the entrance to the race course.

:)Sorry Demarais...I missed this, what with loosing identities again and new babies....I've just realised...the last time I couldn't log on to OPF we had a new baby a couple of days later......do do, do do, do, do, do, do, (spooky music!) Anyway Sandy has answered your question. We only go on race days when there are free buses from the Metro, so I don't know about other times but the RATP site will tell you. I'm not on my home computer so I can't give you the link but it's on here somewhere. Hope you have a good time at the antiques fair. Denise Love from England
