Paris isn't our first stop - we don't actually arrive there until 23 June. but we'll get there. Then the first two days in Paris, we're still with the tour group I'm chaperoning, so time will be scheduled tightly. After they leave, my daughter and I have two more days to ourselves before heading to Provence.
During that time, the top items on my "to do" list are: macarons at Laduree and/or Pierre Herme (thanks to suggestions from my forum friends), Luxembourg Gardens, Musee Cluny, Sainte Chapelle, and time allowing, the garden at Rodin. Oh, and falafels at L'As, if the line isn't too long. ;D

:)Another [glow=red,2,300] Bon voyage [/glow]from me What a wonderful trip to Europe for you and your charges! My first trip to France was for three weeks when I was fourteen. It was one of the most memorable trips of my life and when I first fell in love with Paris. Also how nice for you to spend some time there with your daughter. Unfortunately now she is a mother, my daughter doesn't want to be away from her son and he is too young to enjoy himself in Paris. So I will have to wait until he is older and she has finished having babies before I can share Paris with her. Enjoy... and have a macaroon for me, maybe you can do the research first and we can compare notes when we return!  Denise Love from England  |
