::)First of all, I was to get a copy of "An Hour from Paris" from the library. However, the fine library patron who had checked the book out, decided to never return it I was also waiting for my copy of the new edition in paperback to arrive on May 28. Now the release date has been postponed to June 27! I'll be on my way to Paris by then! If any of you kind people who own this book could just take a look at what the author has to say about Provins, and give me a synopsis, I would be extremely grateful! Provins is the one place I am on the fence about, and I was really hoping to get some more information from her book. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Goldenmama, now I'm feeling really guilty! Happy sent me her copy of the book, but I haven't had time to devour it yet, or I would send it on to you.
See my PM's ;D

Wow, Annette, what a sweet thing to do for GMama! This is such a great place to be a part of! I would exalt you, but frankly haven't done it before (not because there was no reason, of course!) and I've learned the Photobucket thing over the last day or two and my brain is fried!!

Goldenmama, Ladyjicky was considering visiting Provins with her mom . She must still be in Paris now and I don't know when she is coming back, but if she does before you leave she could give you first-hand info .

What is the latest on this book? I had a copy of the new one reserved on Amazon but did not get it renewed when the book did not come out on schedule. Is there a new projected date of release??

I just checked on Amazon and the book was available. I have one heading my way now. Lord knows when I will be back in Paris to use it, but I can read it and be well prepared when I do return.

So glad you brought this back up, I'd forgotten about it. I placed my order and since I only had to spend $7.00 for free shipping I also ordered a copy of Markets of Paris. Like I need another book on the markets!!
