Well, not only is May a popular birthday month on the forum, but today we have 3 birthdays!

We haven't had the pleasure of meeting Katie or Myrtle yet, but I'll never forget how Catherine kept us all mesmerized last summer with her fabulous live trip reports from Paris. I anxiously awaited each new installment, which never failed to brighten up my day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!!!!!!

I just spent the better part of the afternoon reading and looking at the pictures you posted last summer. Thanks to Annette for digging it up for me. I just had a really wonderful trip to Paris without gaining a pound (ha, ha, ha). Thank you so much. Yes, you are a wonderful photographer! You have a way with words that made me feel like I was there with you. I felt like I was doing my Sunday morning "faire les cours" at rue Cler. That used to be my market for 5 years.

I also like that Laduree window at 21 rue Bonaparte. Their tea room in the back looks like the inside of of a beautiful tent and it is a nice place to have a light lunch ending with an assortment of macarons.

My day is made - hubby will be pleased because I am in quite a good mood just having spent a nostalgic 2-3 weeks in Paris with a side trip to Germany. Not to mention a day in the Loire.

Mmmmmm.......... Merci encore!
