I'm too exited to sleep so here are pics as promised. (Ignore the date on my camera, I couln't figure out how to set it) . Here is a very happy and tired grandma Denise and the most gorgeous baby in the world today [http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm296/grndma/maxnewbab(yandalfiespartytomchristen.jpg[/IMG] And here's one we made earlier, big brother Joseph aged two and a half I'm sooo happy today. I don't need champagne. (Sorry I tried to downsize them but it's not worked). I'm probably too tired I've not had much sleep for the past 24 hours. See you all later for the big log in. Both grandsons are so cute,, (older boy has the most beautiful eyes I have seen in a long time) ..
The littlest fellow looks so adorable I can actually almost " smell" him,, that new born baby smell,, , and the little bunched up legs , ( like when you "lay" them on your chest and they pull their little legs up frog style and snuggle right in,, oh the memories)

Congratulations to you and your family, Denise. A new baby is always a happy event, and the man of the moment looks gorgeous. Finally, I have a bone to pick with you...in an earlier post you were worried that you looked fat and now you say Grandma was looking tired in the photo...puh-lease! You look absolutely gorgeous... ;D

;Thank you all so much for all the congratulations and kind words. Max and Mum are doing very well, feeding and eating as they should, and Joseph (big brother) is being very loving to his new sibling. How long that will last I'm not sure, sooner or later Joseph will realise that Max is here to stay and not just visiting like all the other babies he knows! Mez.... LOL. ;D I wasn't trying to be modest, honest, thanks for the compliment. I think the photo sums up how I felt, that mix of fatigue and happiness, as I had been awake nearly 24 hours. Max decided to be born early morning and I was sooo happy and relieved he was Ok, but emotionally, and physically exhausted. As you can imagine it's such an emotional roller coaster looking after someone you love in labour. By the way we have another one due on 20th June. and I have been asked to look after her also. Congratulations, Denise! Our anniversary Baby - he now belongs to all of us, you know. It is so much fun being a grandmother - better than being a Mom, I think!

It is so much fun being a grandmother - better than being a Mom, I think! Haha, I've heard about this. Does it have something to do with the fact that you can just give them back to their parents (your own kids) when you're done playing with them?
