Penny, an exalt from me too ! Congratulations everyone, this is now 24th May ! Thank you for being such great "Glow-Friends" ! I do get my qualms from time to time about spending too much time at the computer - but I thoroughly enjoy your company, be it in virtual reality or in real life. Today is also big day in Denmark, as we will be celebrating the royal wedding between our Queen Margrethes youngest son, Prince Joachim and his Parisian fiancée Marie Cavallier. Guess whose TV will be on all day ! (Prince J. is SUCH a dork........., but there will be amazing dresses and bling-bling to look at !) Also if my beloved father had lived, 24th May would have been his 85 years birthday ! My father and I shared an unforgettable week in Paris in 1973. It was my first trip, it will always have a special place in my heart and there will never be another trip quite like it.

Bravo, Penny! We can always count on you to make our screens come to life. BTW, Gitte - What makes Joachim a dork? (and please don't say his genes or something like that. ;D)

Luc - So I guess you were across the street from MY HOTEL ....... Hotel Britannique . While staying there, I had thought I'd dine in Cafe Zimmer, but we didn't have enough days to squeeze it in.

Woohoo! Happy Anniversary!!! Begging your pardon if I don't make it online at the proper hour later today--we're celebrating hubby's b'day & son's b'day (in 2 days) at our home away from home in Mammoth, and I'm not sure what that hour will bring, what with fishing, hiking and a picnic, etc. on the schedule. But I will definitely be thinking about you all if I'm away from the ol' computer!

Annette - Best wishes to your family for their individual celebrations. The important thing is for you to be thinking of OPF at the given hour, which you know by heart since you're the one who set it up.

Our alarm system just went off, accidentally. So since the sirens woke us, I figure they too, were celebrating our anniversary.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ALL.

Holger - That must have been scary. I hope you took a head-count of all your kitties to make sure that an intruder didn't kidnap any of them.

Mum ,baby, dad, grandma Denise and big brother Joseph are doing well. Unfortunatley I have had a fault on my account and have been unable to logon for two days. (not that I would have had time in the past 24 hours!) So I had created a new username so I could communicate with the powers that be. So sorry I HAD to post under my psedonym as I had to share the wonderful news and take part in the anniversary. Hope you all have a great day... go easy on the champagne.... I have already told Max all about Paris and he was VERY impressed! [ i][/i]In love with Paris already![/color] I will post pictures of the new Paris forum convert as soon as I can download them into my computer. And to add to the fun my hubby is painting our bathrooms and making a big mess. But with a stretch of my imagination, I can see all the splattered paint as confetti. Whoopie!!! ;D

demarais, the royal family speak an Oxford-sounding English - except for our crownprince, he is so much NOT good at foreign languages, he has a horrible Danish accent in his English.
BTW, they speak French at court, because of the prince consort, papa Henri (that's why he never really learned a proper Danish)
