Well, on the back of a most successful shampoo thread, I thought I would ask for help in locating a specific product. Does anyone know if Norwegian Formula Lip Balm is sold in Paris? It's the ants pants, the bees knees of lip balms as far as I'm concerned and I want to stock up when I get there. I know it's sold in Germany...but I won't be going there. It's sold in Boots in the UK, but GBP3 coverts to alot more that 3 euros for me. I could not find it in NYC either...which would have been even cheaper still...and I'm telling you all this so you don't think I haven't done my research. ;D The first product in this link - the Lip Care one is what I am after www.neutrogenauk.co.uk/productdisplay.jhtml?itemname=product_norwegian_lips#Thanks!

Mez, you're lucky, this lip balm is probably the most popular one in France , although my tube doesn't mention "with SPF 20" (?) as on the UK website . You'll find it in pharmacies, para-pharmacies and even supermarkets, at least during the winter season . I guess it must be much more difficult to find in the summer .

There is of course only ONE lipbalm worth having - I swear by it and NEVER go out without it: Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream stick Tastes like a mixture of gasoline, shoecream and conkers, so I guess it's what you'd call "an aquired taste"........

I'll agree with Gitte on this one, too. 8 hour cream and lip balm are saviours. The only cream better imo is Roc enydrial, that even softens the psoriasis on my elbows. It's also the very first thing I buy at Cite Pharmacie when we are in Paris.

Anne, That is fantastic news! I must admit I looked a little bit last year but did not find it anywhere. Tastes like a mixture of gasoline, shoecream and conkers, so I guess it's what you'd call "an aquired taste"........ Ummm...Gitte are you trying to sell me on it or drive me away? ;D Well, I'll write them all down and may give them a try but it's still going to be a bulk purchase of the Nutrogena. ;D ;D
