;D I have booked a two bedroom through them for next March and found Gail a delight to deal with. We were thinking about this apartment, too, but needed two bedrooms.
GitteK has booked through them and recommends them. They also have a very reasonable cancellation policy. If you look at other apartment threads you should see some discussions. You could also PM people for advice.
Welcome aboard.

Lily, that apartment looks lovely! I don't know the area as well as others here do. I'm sure someone will come along and tell you about it.

lily - I believe the Laidbacks have booked that apt. for September and Octobre this year ! The north side of Montmartre is so lovely and Parisian - and away from the buscrowds. Super location, can't be beat. The Laidbacks have used PerfectlyParis (Gail is the manager) a lot, together with another girl-run agency: www.feelslikehomeinparis.com (Yetunde is the manager). Gail and Yetunde are on the absolute toplist of reliable, honest and serviceminded agency runners in all Paris. (Of course the two all-time topscorers on an undisputed, shared #1 position are of course Truffaut and LuckyLuc....... our very own in-forum apartment owners !)

Lily, Ms. L. and I stayed there last Fall and have booked it again for a couple of months this Fall. Do you have any specific questions I can try to answer? I have posted on several of the neighborhood restaurants in the restaurant section.

Lily, Another one in the group with Gail and Yetunde is Michele: homerentalconnections.com/ I have rented her cute Garden Mariotte for a month in the Spring of 2009. Along with Laidbacks, we also previewed her other 2 bedroom Mariotte. They are in the Batignolles area. All nice gals with most of their rentals up in that area and Montmartre..a few in other locations. Enjoy your looking..that is half the fun.. Joan

Thanks to you all for the warm welcome and assistance. I like the fact that this forum seems more relaxed than TA. Laidback - what a piece of luck for me! a recommendation. I did intend to ask questions about local eateries as we will be with 13yr old daughter - a first timer in Paris. We may well have to eat more locally, earlier and less 'formally' than we previously have. I will check your thread. Re the apartment - the bathroom does look a bit old fashioned, Im fussy about showers - hate those trickly, slow, no power showers. Can you confirm? Thanks Lily

Lily,
The bathroom is one of the pluses of this apt., huge by Paris standards with a BIG tub and a separate shower stall which works for us as Ms.L. is a soaker and I am a shower person.
Anything else?

Hi Lily! You are right about this forum being "relaxed". The perfect example is the fact that we even have a poster named Laidback. ;D
