Just booked "Rooftop Vista" for 3 weeks in Spring 2010: 15 April => 6 May. This will be like coming home. And this time I will bring binoculars, because from that little eagle's nest you have the most incredible view over Paris. Plus the fresh, clean, non-smogged air. Plus a prize winning (for their baguettes) bakery next door, where they sell the most indecent Carré aux Raisins. Plus absolutely no cars after 19:00, you can just walk in the middle of Rue des Abbesses ! "Why don't you come up and see me some time ?"

What a cute little apartment, Gitte! You should be very happy and comfortable there....for 3 whole weeks! <sigh>

Excellent choice, Gitte. Not a bad price, either!

Congratulations! The booking of an apartment makes it feel closer even if months away.

Thanks !! Re. the price, Gail has offered me 15% discount for 3 weeks, which brings down the weekly rent to 637,50 euros. OK, I could have found something even cheaper (as the one I'll be staying in in September) but I really loved the free view at Rooftop Vista, being so high up. And so environmentally correct: you don't need to waste electricity for the bed lamp, because you can read by the light from Sacré Coeur shining in on you.....
