Hey Velreid, good to hear from you again - but about your daughter in Germany - that most certainly is NOT a reason to cut a Paris visit short! On the contrary, she would be delighted to have a reason to leave Germany and take a train to Paris (easy to do!) to spend a few days in Paris with you, her beloved mother (and you, of course, will have to stay a few days longer just for her sake - and get a larger apartment so there is plenty of room for her - right?) ;D

Sistereurope, happy to see you are now well and getting back to work and your life.I've had many friends who were in the same situation. Three were in Italy and came home with the flu. Virtual flowers to cheer you.

I've already promised to take my daughter back to Paris for her HS graduation. She's been bugging me about going back since she was ill for part of her first visit. And you all KNOW how my mom is forever hinting at a return trip...
I feel like the middle of a "I wanna go to Paris" whine sandwich... ;D

Sister, if you could push his desire for a trip to Beaune back until Nov. , he could attend the famous Hospice de Beaune auction! Now that should be a selling point for a trip to Paris
