Wow! Did anyone see that article by Thomas Friedman in the NY Times? Very powerful. It has some international implications, so people on this site might be interested.

Saw it when it ran . And he is spot on. I totally disagreed with him in the lead up to Iraq, but at least he's seen the error of his way and admitted it. I always say if Krugman, Frank Rich or Friedman was running for office they'd have my vote. It's nioce to see a voice of reason in the media.
