Willow, don't aim for a few weeks or months in Paris. Aim for a year or a lifetime!! All fingers and toes crossed for you!

Good Luck Willow - it sounds very exciting . I hope it all works out well and that the wheels of bureaucracy do not turn too slow in getting all sorted

Willow, Good luck with the Job prospects. It looks like avaTarzan is on a visit to Monet's garden.

I'm embarassed to admit, I didn't get it until others commented - just kept thinking of Ava Gardner (sorry, showing my age!) and wondering how that fit with Tarzan (thought maybe she played Jane?). Ray - here's one for you!

The best of luck to you, Willow. If it can be done, I know you will do it.
I have worked with the big firms for years and I am sitting here laughing because although I know dozens of partners from many different countries, I cannot recall a single instance of a French partner moving to NY for just such an exchange!
Please keep us posted!

Willow, my hopes for you to get that position in Paris. What fun it would be for you! All your "tantes" and "oncles" will be able to visit you whenever they are in town. You'll be indeed so busy, there won't be time to be a naughty girl! (Sorry, Shoesy, Gitte might get her hopes for a good babywillow!)

Thank you all!
Minor update: I had lunch with my coach/mentor today regarding my annual plan and we discussed the exchange program. He doesn't have many details, but apparently you need 2 yrs experiance and your CPA certificate. I'm 25% there with the experiance but I need to get cracking on the CPA. My coach will try to get more info so that I can put myself on the right path to Paris!!!

:)Dear Willow (what a lovely name!) You know my motto, Life's to short to......miss the opportunity to try to go on an exchange to Paris, even though you will miss your lovely dog and your parents. Go for it you never know how it will work out. I will keep my fingers crossed . Denise Love from England
