Denise
One of the greatest pleasures in travelling is shopping for stuff to take away - it extends the trip that much more. There is nothing better than having all new stuff to take away with you - its just feels right! I am having trouble restraining myself from shopping for my big adventure - the luggage space is limited and I am not sure how much room there will be in your tent for a walk in wardrobe !
Enjoy your countdown

I approve! I hope you'll be so kind to show us at least a few pictures of you modeling your tres chic attire against the backdrop of the Paree! yes, can't wait to see those pictures too Denise, but not the ones of you in the new undies after a kir royal or two It's a shame that we will be leaving the day you arrive, it's only 15 days, 13 hours, 3 minutes and 24 seconds now for us........I don't know about you but as it's getting closer it definately feels like it is taking longer!!!! ok, maybe it is me, I am that impatient

Denise,
Denise....you are leaving SOOON!!! I am so excited for you. It seems you have prepared well and that you have the right shoes, etc. If you are looking for free stuff, and you haven't already been, the Musee Carnavalet is wonderful. The building is beautiful and the gardens are outstanding. As my trip report post tells anyone who reads it, I am a HUGE fan of Quiet Corners of Paris because all but one of the gardens are free. We had a great time finding these while we were there early in June.
Have a great time! I can't wait to read your report when you return.
Katharine
P.S. I exercised before I went, too - my jaw!!

:-[I AM HAVING A LAST MINUTE PANIC. Here I am, false tanned, nails done, hair done, defuzzed, clothes assembled, non clothes assembled, household things assembled ready to pack. Itinerary planned. accommodation, shuttle, flight, car parking, all confirmed. Money, passports ready. (which is all SO unlike me, to be so well organised!) Have I forgotten something? So why am I having a last minute panic? I am so bad tempered and irritable, >:(and imagining all sorts of things going wrong. I woke up at 5am unable to sleep. Ranting on about banks and exchange rates!! Usually I am very laidback, I know the trip preparation drill so well I usually just get on with it. I can only think I have over planned. ; I need to get a grip! Denise love from England

Denise - You've got to calm down, my dear. Everything will be perfect. You have nothing to worry about, so relax and enjoy these exciting moments before your trip to our favorite city.

:)Yes calmed down now....Michael aka "he who lives life in the slow lane" will make no preparations except changing money, and pack HIS stuff on Sunday before we go. What he doesn't have he doesn't take! That is his problem not mine! The "P" word (Paris) has been banned in the house since Monday. So he is obviously fed up of me. It will be alright on the night!!!
