Thanks for the Passover wishes! (I sure wish I could hear Parisbound pronounce that Hebrew. ) It's such a nice time of year to celebrate, and I've always liked this holiday, especially when I worked as a teacher and got an 18-day vacation. ;D

Actually, Passover lasts a week, but only the first and last days are considered to be real holidays (i.e. no work) here. However, many people take vacation during the whole week of Passover, while others work part-time.

For those of you who don't know it, during Passover we're not supposed to eat "leavened bread" (in short, anything made with flour). Thus, you can imagine how difficult it is looking at all those trip report pics that contain baguettes or yummy pastries when all I have at home is a box of tasteless "matzahs".

Just this how amazing the baguettes and yummy pastries will taste once you are able to enjoy them again. At least you were not in Paris looking longingly in the shop windows.
