I can't remember if anyone of the group will be in Paris for this. It does offer an opportunity to see the inside of the building that is normally closed to the public.
Saturday, April 12, 10:15 am Visit to the Institut de France PAN member and professional guide Dominique Atkins has secured for us a rare opportunity to visit the Institut de France, whose exceptional architecture was designed by Le Vau, grouping together five prestigious Academies, of which the most famous is the Académie Française. This is an exceptional opportunity to hear about their origins, functions, rituals and myths and to see inside this beautiful building housing Cardinal Mazarin's tomb. Under the famous Cupola, you will also discover the mysteries behind the Forty Immortals and how they prepare the dictionary and the history of the quartier. Two hour visit will be in English. 12€ per person..
