I just read a really heart-warming thread on another forum that shows just how kind some people can be. I will definitely keep Paris Perfect in mind when we next rent an apartment. preview.tinyurl.com/5tp49o

I read that on Fodor's earlier this morning, too.
Yes, Madelyn and Philippe are nice people. They live in London where they also have rentals. Madelyn's sister Carolyn lives in Paris and takes care of the rentals there.
Laidback has rented many apartments from them and I have rented twice. I will be staying in one after my grand daughter and husband leave in April and I move from the lovely Parisian Flat apartment that we will have, in the 6th. My earlier rental from them was last October.
They are all nice places.......

What a nice story...and what better place to recuperate than a lovely apartment overlooking the Seine...and maybe a pain au chocolat each morning to bolster one's strength??

What wonderful people! Hearing reports like this would definitely influence my apartment renting decisions. However, I don't know of one person on this forum who wouldn't do the same thing if given the chance to help!

What a lovely story! We need more Willems in the world. Thanks for posting this and great to know that the 19-year old is doing well!

what a heartwarming read... there are definitely nice people everywhere you go... I believe in paying it forward... just like the movie... be kind to someone and someone will be kind to others....

It's really good to know that there are such kind, generous people out there. Thanks so much for posting that, Demarais. I never would have seen it on my own.
