Holger - I bet it's a bit difficult to find comfortable earrings for non-pierced ears, though there are obviously certain kinds that feel better than others. That's the reason I had never worn earrings until I got my ears pierced. I had had virgin ears until the age of 30 because I had thought that piercing was barbaric, but then my love for jewellery convinced me that it was O.K. So, one day I got the nerve and did it without telling my husband, whose opinion on the subject was even more conservative than mine. Well, he survived the shock and loved me no less for having performed this "barbaric" act. ;D

Geordy - With your beautiful curly hair you should be wearing beautiful earrings too.

Thanks for the report, we go to Provence every year and St Remy is a routine stop. W stayed one year right in town at the magnificent Hotel L'Atelier des Images.
