I came across some pictures of this town while researching our Spring 08 trek through the south of France...have any of you ever been there? It looks really charming...

Sister -- I stayed in a B & B in Velleron in 2002 and shortly after we were there (and it was probably in the works at that time!), it was sold and they now have a B & B in Saignon. Their names are Simone Sanders and Wim Visser. I'm sure you could "google" and have a look at their new spot. I just can't remember the name of their place in Saignon. Villa Velleron was wonderful so I'm sure the new place is as charming.
I have been to the Vaucluse/Luberon area twice now, so if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to try and help.
It is a fabulous place and I would return in a heartbeat. It's #2 after Paris!

Just found a website: www.sejours-et-provence.com/Les Terrasses de Saignon is the name of their current property. They are great people -- Wim is a fabulous chef and Simone (wife) is a great hostess. They both speak good English so that is a plus. Enjoy the research!!! One village that is absolutely spectacular and a photographer's dream is Roussillon. Check it out.

Thanks Joy! Their place looks fabulous...but for this trip I'm afraid that we're going to have to stay in hotels/b and b's instead of apartments. We're flying into Nice and are going to meander our way along the coast from Nice to Barcelona, then fly out of Barcelona. We have a little over 2 weeks (which is not enough time!!) There are so many places I want to see - Saignon being on the list now for sure. It looks SO beautiful!!

Saignon is one of our favorite villages. We stayed there at Room with a View and also The Presbytere by the fountain. We also one year stayed at the goat farm in nearby Sivergues.
