I have just got back from a work trip to Sydney, Australia and the trip ended up having an unexpected French Theme. I was at a boring old work conference Wed, Thursday , Friday but on Saturday I found a great patissiere so if you are ever in Sydney and need a Macaron or Eclair fix this is a great place to go. We ended up speaking with Adriano for some time and tasting all his Macaron flavours - Passionfruit is to die for . He trained at Ecole Lenotre in Paris and he had the most delightful array of yummies in his store www.adrianozumbo.com/Saturday night the French theme continued (albeit French Canadian) with a show at the Sydney opera house - Cabaret Decadanse . It was brilliant and if it ever comes to your neck of the woods I would recommend going to see it . I know it is in France in Nov 2007 but where else in the world I am not sure . It is a mixture of ballet, puppetry, comedy and magic. It is like Cirque De Soleil with puppets . It is so hard to describe but if you feel like it have a look at the website as there is a short video clip there - A definite Must see !! www.cabaretdecadanse.com/index.html
