Oh Suzanne! Congratulations! I love the name Aidan. Btw, did you buy lots of baby stuff when you were in Paris?

Wow, you're going to have fun shopping in Paris on your next trip! (And, of course, playing with the new grandson in the meanwhile!)

Thanks all. Actually I did not do much shopping this trip. I think the exchange rate dampened my usual shopping urges. Aidan is our third grandson so he has lots of big brothers hand me downs. That did not stop me from heading straight to the mall with his 5 year old brother. I let him pick out a few outfits for his new baby brother. That was alot of fun.

Just out of curiosity, was the name Aidan chosen because of that cutie guy Carrie dated in "Sex and the City"?

I forgot about the guy on Sex and the City. I like the Aidan on All My Children. I don't think my son and daughter-in-law are familier with either guy. My son always wants to name his sons after hockey players. The other two are Cameron and Brendan. His wife won this time and she picked Aidan. My son wanted to name the baby Owen. Another hocky player.

I'm with you Gitte. I had 3 natural child births myself.
My daughter-in-law was sheduled to have C-section on Monday the 18th. She woke up feeling some cramps yesterday. My son decided to take her to the hospital. They were in the parking lot when she started feeling the baby coming. She arrived at the hospital at 10 and had the baby at 10:05. So she missed out on the c-section and the epidural. I told her she had no idea how lucky she was to have a baby that fast. LOL

Yikes! I'm glad your son insisted on taking her to the hospital..or he could have had to do the job himself! Many happy wishes to the family. I'd be willing to bet you're having fun with the big brothers for a few days.

I love hearing stories about really quick deliveries. I had two of those never-ending "ouch ouch ouch" experiences.
