Mes chers amis a OurParis forum,
Merci beaucoup! I am having such a wonderful day already reading all your best wishes. Started the day with some earl grey parfumé from Mariage Freres and toasted pain Parisian with a Pierre Hermé Envie confiture (pears with violette and cassis) prepared by faithful hubby! He said this is to be followed by champagne tonight - I'll be thinking of all of you while I sip the wonderful nectar of the Gods. It is not Paris but it's always good to have a taste of Paris.
Just got back late last night from a 4 day working trip - we did have a little snow in the morning of the first day and then turned to rain for the rest of week culminating to heavy heavy rains on the drive back to SF but they did give me a room overlooking the lake - it was wonderful. They even had a big chocolate cake for me yesterday at the end of the meetings.
Again, my thanks. You all made me so happy!

Framboiseetrose, I hope that your birthday evening turns out as well as your birthday morning....please tell us that you were able to eat fabulous French food prepared by a French chef with your champagne (oh, and don't forget to describe your designer b'day outfit!)

It is still February 1st, Sandy. I'm glad to hear from the Paris of South America.
Gitte - I exalt you for that beautiful birthday message. Je suis sure que je celebre mon anniversaire dans un grande maniere. I got a pink fairy from my almost 4-year old granddaughter.
You're too funny, SE. You won't let me forget my little fib. That's the price I pay for playing such a trick! Ha, ha.......
Thanks, Annette - it is a good feeling to have someone do nice things for you!
