The Armani collection is a bit schizo - first half is pretty and fairly wearable (well, at least for those of us who are 22, tall and very, very thin - not!!

I do enjoy seeing creations like this, even if I have to think of them as art pieces rather than clothing - thanks for posting these!

Still runs with scissors, still colors outside the lines, but also plays well with others!

I don't think that anyone actually ever WEARS those outrageous designs...I think it's just a big ego thing for the designers. From my limited knowledge, it's just a way to start people talking about trends.
But I don't know demarais, I think you'd turn a lot of heads down there in FL if you showed up wearing #9!! ;D

Don't worry, Phread, they WILL be asking you one day (or at least going through your vintage finds for inspiration!).

I can't tell you how many designers I've seen in the New York vintage shops over the years. They are always looking for things to "interpret".

Good luck on getting into the show. They really are an experience not to be missed.
