It was my pleasure today to have lunch at Cafe Claude in San Francisco with Sandy from Iowa who was on her way to visit family in Northern California.
She had seen some of my photography; she wanted to see more and I was able to show her additional images for my book.
Of course she brought up "Paris Fever" aka Post Paris Depression and we shared ideas of how each of us copes with it in between visits to Paris.
As was the case with a previous visitor to San Francisco, it was amazing how each of us could tune in to the experiences of one another regardless of places we had both been and similar things we had both seen and done.
Had it not been a french cafe, the other patrons would probably thought we were from Mars.
What has been your experience meeting people elsewhere who have also visited Paris ? How did you meet up ? How was your time together ? Do you still stay in touch ?
PS. A small world -
Sandy had taken a cooking class with AnneParis on a recent visit. I met Anne in 2005 at a TA Get Together and hope to have coffee or a drink with her the end of the month when I am in Paris !

I've answered this question on TA, but I don't mind being repetitive. In July I was fortunate to meet Robin (RPL67) from TA and our own Geordy, who is you-know-where right now. Both meetings were lots of fun. My day with Geordy was fully documented on a thread on this forum so I needn't go into detail, but I will repeat how much fun we had together.........a lot of laughter. My meeting with Robin (my sister was with us too) took place at noontime, and we had a delicious meal in an Italian restaurant. After our lunch we drove to a nearby park, where I met her boyfriend and also her precious little hammy Westie, who was very anxious to show-off all the tricks she had learned.
