Oh Good! I've been thinking about Shoesy and the wedding since Friday. Happy to know all went well. I was going to post a similar inquiry. You beat me to it, Annette!

Hi guys! I've really been too busy to write - not only the wedding, but getting organized for our flight back. We leave at 11 something this morning, so we're leaving the house at 7:00. The wedding was fantastic, more unbelievable than we had imagined. All of us enjoyed ourselves so much. I had my hair and make-up professionally done (Elizabeth Arden for hair and Mac for make-up), and I couldn't recognize myself when I looked in the mirror. Everyone complimented me, but I didn't feel or look like myself. I'm not into all that, and found that part stressful, but once I was ready, I was able to enjoy myself. Since it's still early now, and I'm only in the morning coffee stage, I don't feel particularly chatty, but I definitely wanted to say "hi" to everyone before I leave for Israel in a few hours. BTW, I made a few Paris-related purchases on this trip from amazon.com . I bought 2 books - "A Year in the Merde", which I plan to start reading on the flight, and "Almost French". In addition, I purchased the cards "City Walks: Paris ", which will be used by my daughter and sister on their respective trips to PARIS. (My daughter is honeymooning in the Loire and Paris, and in a few days my sister will be leaving for Paris, and after that she too will visit the Loire.)

Congratulations. You must have looked fabulous. Hope the flight back goes smoothly. We purchased the Paris walk cards for the up coming trip and were surprised how many places we had gotten to last June. Hope everyone's trips to paris and the Loire go well.

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I still can't believe that just a few days ago I was at my daughter's wedding and now I'm back in Israel.........after a tedious flight, may I add. It was uneventful, just too darn long. Now I'm trying to figure out a way to make my suitcases unpack themselves. ;D
