OK I am trying this again. for two days I have not been able to minimize links and keep two open at same time. So I have to go to Internet Explorer to Post and Reply. grrrr.
I'm was checking to see if it was part of the "banned" problem some of us are having.
So here's some pointers for those who are hesitant or can't seem to get in.
(regulars add if I am incorrect or have better suggestions).
How are you trying to access Blog/Chat?
I have set up as a link on my tool bar but you can also put in favorites.
works best if you have two separate links. 1 for forum, 1 for Chat.

a Explorer User Prompt window should open in upper left corner of screen. If you do not see then move the blog screen down. LOL it may be shy and hiding. Enter name and hit OK. Now when I first started logging on sometimes it would take me two or three tries if this happens then just click on link again and log into prompt. Now I am able to get in on first try.
A screen should open with header of
blogtrickschat at top. if you see a screen with lots of type then it means others are chatting, the screen is divided into a wide column (on chat) and a narrow column (on right) with a entry space at bottom (like Reply on forum, this is where you type message) when this opens your name should appear in right column.
Left column is where chatting appears. (I'm not getting the penny enters the room today).
if you type in space at bottom and then hit Send your message beginning with your name (name in one font, message in another font) should appear in left column. usually people say, gotta go, bye, etc when they leave Chat. their name will disappear from right Column
Don't be afraid to jump in, LOL yeah, sometimes you lose the thread of what others are saying but if that happens just watch the screen and go along for the ride

You cannot spell check in Chat so if you make a typo and hit Send, then go back and type something like talk= chat. I tend to have finger/brain coordination problems ;D
You can minimize (if it stays open) and check back periodically to see if anyone is there or close if you are the only one there and don't want to send a PM to get a chat going.
Chatters??-do you have to register the first time. I can't remember or are you registered if you are a Forum member, or can anyone chat?
Folger- Tell us why you say you can't get in and maybe someone can figure out why/how.
