My Parishuttle roundtrip fare was 50USD. They were efficiently run and my wait time was at tops 10 mins outside; on an early Saturday morning breathing in the cool fresh air after having been on a plane for 7 hrs was perfectly fine with me. I would use them again.

Four times I've been left stranded by PariShuttle--once at the airport upon arrival and twice at the apartment waiting for a pick-up that never arrived. The fourth time, they had the decency to call my cell phone on my way to the airport in the US to let me know they wanted an extra $150 for two large suitcases extra (they couldn't have told me that when I made the reservation on the phone??). NO PariShuttle for me under any circumstances!

With all due respect, Truffaut, is it at all possible that you got the 'bogus' other company (parisshuttle vs parishuttle) ? I would hate to hear of a perfectly reputable company being destroyed here in error of being mistaken for that 'other' company. The 'other' company is no longer in business. If you can state for me and other's that is so, then I will be sure to never use them again either and I am grateful I had such good luck with them when I did use them!!

That is such a rotten trick..parishuttle/parisshuttle...A bogus company did the same thing with a service I use in Rome. Limoservicerome/limoservicesrome and lots of people were seriously incovenienced.
We've always taken a taxi, to the 6th it, usually runs around 50-60 Euro. One we took a shuttle back to CDG, booked by our hotel. It really took us on a city tour picking up other passengers..one of whom didn't show up and the driver waited about 10 minutes! I was getting a bit nervous by that time.

No, this is PariShuttle (just one "s"), the company that used grey vans with blue writing on the sides. The poor woman who answers their phone is one of the few people in France that I've called an extremely dirty name. I believe that was the time she told me it was my fault that I hadn't made the reservation. Please understand, I was holding the confirmation page IN MY HAND at the very moment she told me I had never contacted them and that the situation was entirely my problem.

I too have had bad experiences with PariShuttle ( one S) - in fact a very similar experience to Truffaut where they told me that I hadn't made a reservation and like Truffaut I was holding the confirmation page in my hand. After a direct flight from NZ which was nearly 32 hours from when I left my front door I was not happy. I then was directed to a different terminal and when i got there the shuttle had gone without me so I had to wait for another hour. I think I was in the terminal about 2 and a half hours before I finally got on a shuttle. It was my first time in Paris by myself and in hindsight I should have cut my losses and made other arrangements to get to the hotel but was tired and a 6am was not thinking straight ! I tried them again on my second to last trip as the travel agent booked them and I had a similar experience on the return journey. I guess we all have bad days but I am not going to risk a third strike

Those 2 reports have settled it for me!This is a small group and 2 such incidents is a big average.
I always say we'll try the RER, but stairs with luggage , being old and tired, it just seems too much. I guess I'll stick with taxis. We have to chose our battles!

I have only ever used the RER or been picked up br relatives, so I don't have alot to compare it to,, but it does seem for 2 or more a taxi isn't that unreasonable( especially if one is not travelling during rush hour) . I had thought about taking a taxi this time as I am going with my youngest child,, but I will see, I still think the RER is fastest and I like fast, plus , our hotel is like a block away from ST Michel stop..I guess it depends on how rested we are form flight.
I do plan on taking a taxi to airport on return,, leaving is not fun so might as well make it painless, plus I hate mornings!!

I have made up my mind and we will take a taxi! We get in so early - around 6 in morning and we leave late - near midnight! Way too difficult. LOL

;D
The last two trips we used Yellow Van arranged through our hotel They were fine, on time and courteous. From CDG we were the only passengers. On the return, they did have other people as well but there was no problem.
Next March we will go through Gail who makes arrangements with a car service.

This makes me worried now because I have booked parishuttle through Easyjet.( the airline) We are arriving late at night and I didn't fancy Public transport which we usually use. I thought as it was a deal with Easyjet they would be reliable, because if they got a lot of complaints Easyjet would not continue to use them. I know there doesn't seem to be a lot of Uk members but has anyone used Parishuttle coming off a n Easyjet flight? Denise

I have just returned from Paris. I used this one: www.shuttle-inter.com/ They couldn't have been any better! They were there with my name on the sign as I exited. They had the info that my granddaughter and husbands flight had been delayed and arrangements had already been made to meet them later..which they did. They were prompt in picking up the kids when they left. They were prompt when picking me up at my different location when I left. I will be using them in Sept/Oct. I thought they were very reasonable. I don't like the ones that you have to call upon arrival..and then wait for them. To be there, take your luggage and be on your way after a long, not fun, overnight trip is the way to go, for me! Joan

Thanks, Joan, this looks like a good service and I like that they keep tabs on your flight in case it's late.

Upon arrival at CDG we have rarely had to wait very long and sometimes not at all. I don't mind that they drop off others before us since we get a free tour of the city on the way to our destination. I dislike the fact that on the way back to the airport they pick up others, some of whom are not ready, and we get to sit outside of their hotels waiting. This has caused me some anxiety for fear we would miss our flight. So if I use them for our return trip I ask to be be picked up at least 30 minutes earlier than they recommend. LOL on one occasion it was snowind and the driver was doing 35 mph on the freeway in causing others to swerve around us. He was from India and had never driven in snow before. It was quit unnerving to say the least.

It appears from the link Joan posted, that this service is private. It would be only you in the car, so they wouldn't be picking up/dropping off anyone else.
I like that it's a set price, €55, regardless of traffic conditions.

Yes, it is a private service. Only you. English speaking drivers. They are rigth there when you exit, with a sign with your name on it. They take your luggage and their vehicle is close by.
No calling, waiting or other travelers in the vehicle to be dropped off or picked up upon return to airport.
I think it is a good deal............
