Does anyone know of a airport shuttle service that takes you to your hotel? We get into paris really early - about 7 in morning. Anyone know of a good reliable and priced company? Thankyou.

I use the tpe of service that is at the exit door from immigration with your name on a sign..they handle luggage and deliver you to your apt/hotel. This is the one that I have reserved for April: www.shuttle-inter.com/

We have used parishuttle.com several times and for the most part I have no complaints about them.

I used Paris shuttle, got charged twice, didn't get picked up (ended up in a taxi of which there were plenty), was told I'd get a refund and it never came. Beware.

luckyluc,
I like to be met by someone...they take the luggage to the vehicle and away we go....no phone calls, no taxi line...I know I have just had a miserable trip and now I want it as simple as can be... this is the way that works best for me.........

Shuttles are not much cheaper than taxis and if you don't get dropped off first they are not any faster. We had a bad experience with a cab driver once, so we started using the shuttles. Now it is just a habit. By the way, we had the same experience as Grunblack when we used Bee Shuttle. Also I think there is Parishyuttle and another company called Paris Shuttle.

I'm a big fan of the RER now that I've given in and tried it . It's inexpensive and SO easy. If I was traveling with more than just myself, I might still splurge on a taxi though.

We arrived in Paris during a transportation strike and chose to use a shuttle to avoid any problems. We used Grey Shuttle and I would highly recommend them. We ended up arriving at a different terminal and on a different flight and were therefore very worried about our shuttle. We called our driver when we arrived at CDG and it all worked out. We had to use a different shuttle, Elysees Cars, for our return to CDG and were also pleased with their service. We had a very early flight home and our shuttle picked us up before 5 a.m. with no problems.
Both times the drivers were very friendly and shared details about the city. I still remember our drive into Paris and down the Champs Elysees. I think that the driver enjoyed seeing my reaction more than anything.

I've used Taxi Parisiene from the airport in and back each of the 6 times I have been to Paris. It's door to door, luggage in the boot, no waiting. Over the years I have heard some horror stories about other forms of transportation (can be hit or miss). After 11+ hours cramped up in a plane I want to leave the driving to them, get to my hotel as soon as possible, get a shower and hit the streets.

I've never had to wait more than two minutes for a taxi at CDG. What could be simpler?

Darcy, what is a "fair" taxi price ? I tend to get ripped off.

I believe that all the legal taxis have regulated meters so I guess I'm not sure how someone gets "ripped off". The furthest away from the airport that I have stayed is in the 15th near metro Charles Michels and the fare was €55 or €60, that was in Sept 2006. In May 2007, I stayed in the 1st and the fare was about €50 I think. To me it's money well spent after an overnight flight, and on the way home, there's no way I would want to drag around my overstuffed suitcase. All I ever take is one carryon piece of luggage, in case you're thinking I travel with trunks.

There are two different kind of shuttle services, BEWARE.
Services like GreyShuttle are MORE expensive than a taxi. BUT they meet you at the immigration exit, tow your luggage out and take you directly to your door.
Services like Paris Shuttle are LESS than a cab for one person, but they take several customers and therefore have several drop offs. And they do NOT meet you inside the airport, but wait near the taxi queue.
The formula is different for everyone. I generally travel with two kids, so I take the taxi, unless I have a ton of luggage, in which case I used to order Grey Shuttle. However, I now have a friend who drives cab and I just call him if I am overloaded on a flight home. When traveling alone or with other gr'ups, it is the RER for me!

In 6 trips from CDG to the 5th or 6th in a Taxi Parisiene, the least I paid was E38.50 and the most E54, difference being traffic.

Now that's I've been to Paris I think I'd be happy to just get a taxi, was less expensive and the line was minimal, only a couple of minutes wait.

A little late in response, but I took a combo Roissy Bus and cab both ways. I don't remember what the Roissy Bus fare is , but my cab fare from Opera to the Marais was 15E-20E.
I looked at shuttles, but the more dependable shuttles were expensive for a single traveler.
