Can someone tell me if this can be done in a day and the approximate time and then I can take into account timewise stops along the way for coffee or wine!
Bercy Village Marche Aligre Promenade du Plantee & Viaduc du Arts The passages of St. Antoine
Or is this just too much for one day? Now that I have typed this and thought about it, it seems like alot for one day, huh?
Having not spent any time in that area of Paris, I have no clue as to how far or how long the walking would be from these places to one another.
Merci!

I haven't really spent any time in that part of Paris either, so I am of little help. But have you tried the pedestrian feature on mappy.com? I think it's awesome...and it will give you a really good idea of how long the walk will be between each stop.

Bonjour LovParis,
We all have different travelling style. Since I know that I will be back in Paris, I have the luxury of taking my time and even farniente for a while. To me that is the beauty of Paris, taking the time to take it all in...
That said, I think that your proposal is a bit to heavy. La promenade plantée is sitting on le Viaduc des Arts so once you walked one hour on the top promenade you can go down and turn around and walk one hour looking at the boutiques of the Viaduc des Arts. So 2 1/2hr wold be enought. The Marché d'Aligre could take 4 hours is your are shopping for food, but if you are just enjoying the display 2 hours could do. Remember to go went the market is open, if not there is little to see. Don't forget to read Anne-Paris review on her blog.
A great place to have lunch would be Le Pause-Café at 41 rue de Charonne, or le Bar à soupes also on rue de Charonne at no.33
The Aligre market open from tuesday to friday, 9 am to 1 pm then 4 pm to 7.30 pm Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm , then 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm Sunday from 9 am to 1.30 pm
Hope this help.

Thanks for the input! I will try the mappy pedestrian feature. I have "played" with Google map and will include the mappy fun!
I think I will perhaps do the Marche Aligre (and yes, I have printed out and read The Foodie Froggy's feature on Aligre) and Promenade du Plantee on one day and Bercy and the St. Antoine passages on another. I think I'll be in Paris for two weeks this time so I won't have to rush around and "tick" things off this trip. I'm also planning this next trip to "dive into" the Metro so will use that in order to save time and steps.
Merci beaucoup!
