Has anyone here ever used this agency to rent an apt thru? They look very nice on the website. I found them after googling 'paris real estate for sale'... they have quite an operation going! I want that Marais apt they have for sale on rue de Rivoli facing Place Baudoyer!!! All furnished and ready to go for 475E...ahhhh

tre, I just looked at the site. I'm shopping for an apt for December. How did you find out the price? Did you have to ask? I only see the alphabetical ranges. Am I missing something? That's so time-consuming/annoying.

Really! That place looks fabulous! But a furnished, renovated 1 bedroom in the Marais for 475,000 euros?! Luc's right, what's the catch?!
(happy...the rental prices are at the bottom of the rental page. The sale info is part of the "sister site")

We ask for our studio, at 10 minutes walk to the Marais, 650 Euros all inclusive and we have a private garden and we are at the low end prices. I seriously would be suspicious of 475 Euros.

Oh, I think that you all misunderstood Tre's post...that was 475 THOUSAND euros for a renovated apartment for SALE in the Marais, not 475e to RENT. Their rentals were much higher than that... But I still think that 475,000 euros is not bad for a fully renovated, furnished (with nice stuff) 1 bedroom in the Marais, am I right?

I did send them an Email about renting in June. We'll see what kind of response I get. I didn't see many pictures, but from what I did see, it was beautiful. Susanb

Tre, I did find the site with all the info on it. They have some beautiful apartments. I asked them what was left in June. I think that no matter whats left in June it will be very nice. I'm very exited to get a reply. Thank-you for finding this sight. Its a winner! Susanb

GITTE; WHERE DID YOU STAY WHEN YOU TOOK THE 'OLD LADIES' TO PARIS? WHEN YOU WENT TO MONMARTE, DID THEY HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE STAIRS? DID YOU USE THE MONMARTE BUS TO GO UP THE HILL? HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT THERE, JUST HOPE THERE MIGHT BE ONE THAT HAS CURB SERVICE! IS THE FUNICULAR FIXED AND HOW FAR UP THE HILL DOES IT GO? yOU MAY HAVE NOTICED THAT I HAVE A LITTLE HILL PARANOIA. I'VE BEEN TRAINING THIS WINTER TO MAKE IT TO THE TOP WITHOUT O2! WE'LL SEE HOW FAR I'VE COME! sbI'm very serious with how well the ladies did. Was it difficult for them to walk? I DON'T want to whine the entire way up, carry me Dennis, carry me.

I have written 4 agencys now and have gotton 4 replys within a day. I've Emailed Guest Services, the one I love most, alacarte-paris-apartments.com, Paris Perfect, another one I really like and finally, Perfectly Paris. Paris Perfect is another site that is just gorgeous but a little too pricey. Maybe in another life I can stay there! Everyone is out now until Monday, but if you want an apartment for the sometime this year, start looking on their sites. Even some of the studios are nice. susanb Gitte, how about the ladies with the stairs?

Hi Susan...I wonder if you have also seen www.parisvacationapartments.com?They also have some nice properties and are a first rate agency ( I have a few friends here use them year after year and just rave!). I also used ItalyPerfect when I went to Florence two years ago and that was great too. (ParisPerfect and ItalyPerfect are run by two sister) Best, Tre
