Just about everyone I know has been to Prague and loved it. My husband and son were there last spring when their favorite basketball team Maccabi Tel-Aviv participated in the Euroleague Final Four competition. (Israeli teams participate in European sports.) One day I hope to be there too.

Shoesy - you absolutely must come! I know about some yummy ice-cream close to the Old Town Square, well can´t compare to Berthillon, because it will be my 1. trip to Paris in September - but I´ll keep you posted

Happy Belated Birthday Terezacz!
I was in Prague a couple of years ago. Stayed at the Hotel Maximillian and LOVED it!! While strolling through the old town square the last night we stopped for an ice cream come . We realized too late we didn't have enough Czech money left with us and the lovely lady gave us the cones and wouldn't take the czech money we did have! Good ice cream too!

Thank you geordy, I love when someome loved Prague, it makes me kinda proud or something See? Good (and bad) people are everywhere. That´s what I hated about TA posts - complaints about rude Parisians, over and over again
