Jcj and her sis and I are planning to meet up one evening as we will all be in Paris the same time and staying in the same area. Jcj is in the 3rd (rue Charlot) and I am in the 4th (rue du bourg-tibourg). I am trying to come up with a nice plan for a place to have a drink or two and then dinner?
There are so many wonderful restos I have read thru all the recommendations here that it is just so hard to decide on just one.
I know that Petit Pont sounds wonderful for having cocktail looking upon Notre Dame and then perhaps dinner at Petit Prince?
I also suggested drinks and dinner and then an evening cruise on the Seine if they had not done that before and would like to...
if that is the plan what would be a good choice before hand for drinks? then dinner?
I will check back when I get home from work and look foward to all your input... This is soooooooooooooo fun!!! Tre

My friends and I spent a couple of hours at Kiosque Flottant which is across the River but alongside Notre Dame. It is a boat that is moored in the Seine and is a bar/restaurant. If not too cold, cocktails would be great there as you gaze upon Notre Dame and watch the bateau mouches going up and down the River. It was early July when we were there, so much warmer being outside on the water. However, we thought it was a fabulous spot. I know they serve food, but have no idea the caliber. However, you can't ruin a glass of vin!!
It would be on the south side of Notre Dame but across the bridge (Quai Montebello, perhaps?). I know it is very close to one of the Batobus stops.
Enjoy!
