Pillars of the Earth is one of my favorite novels. I have read it several times over the years. Thanks for the updates!

I just got back from a trip to Borders and returned with The Pillars of the Earth! I also got the new hardcover by the author of the Kite Runner - I heard it is fabulous! (Just a side note)

Trechic, Let me know how you like your new book by the author of Kite Runner! I have thought about getting that book too! I get so many ideas from this forum, actually, of books to get. Currently I am listening to everyone's favorite French cookbook! Sacre bleu! I am not even much of a cook..but to bring a little Paris into the kitchen...sigh !
