andi - please make sure that you stop by and visit us here in Washington DC/Baltimore on your US tour! (My husband's ex-wife, who I get along with very well and actually celebrate holidays and have dinner with, is from the UK. So my stepsons are half-British!) And yes...I do believe there is someone here from CA...you might as well see the whole country while you're at it!

Hi, Andi -- I'm in California (Berkeley, just across the bay from San Francisco). This is a great walking area, plus has decent public transit (I almost never drive to SF because there is a metro system that goes there and stops about 5 mins. walk from our house). Check out the area on line, and then come and see us!

yes andi - I just returned from my first-ever trip to CA...San Francisco and the northern CA wine country. It is simply gorgeous there, and SF is now my second favorite city on the planet. Becky - you have the best of ALL worlds!!! ;D

Sister -- I tend to agree, except when I get on a plane for France and it's about 7,000 miles away!

I now have a dilema! Do I....
A) Save my pennies and revisit Paris? B) Sell my house and visit everyone all across America?
or C) Do A then B then live in Paris afterwards
I like the sound of the later!!!! LOL
