No, it posts whenever I 'paste' and it turns into the picture...let me try the URL again: hopefully it won't also turn into a picture..... And thanks! Betsy

Besty, for the avatar it's not a "paste" function. You need to upload to photobucket (do you have their information?), then click on the url (not img) designation to copy it, and insert that where it says "avatar url" after you open the "modify profile" screen.

Okay Becky...I'll read it ASAP...darn I can't get that URL to not become a picture..... But here it is in lines: i196.photobucket.com/albums (cont on next line without a break so maybe it won't turn into a picture) /aa93/spookdog/ctmpphpASig641.jpg[/IMG] **** ?

You can change the squished look by changing in photobucket and then doing the same steps again (I think you need to see the actual dimension, which will show when you hover over the photo, then take those numbers and insert in the profile where it asks the size of the avatar you are uploading).

If someone can find me a site that might have a photo of the shop (I'll do a search) or what you want in the avatar I can attempt to create one. Just give me some ideas. Shoesy I might be able to include your shoe if you want , they only problem I have had is the animation does not always copy. I did mine by combining three pictures in powerpoint and then saving as a picture. gif extension I think. I then loaded into my Photobucket account. I don't mind doing this as I'm working on a project to add music to a slideshow for a friend and I can use all the practice I can get, I have to photo/slides to practice with.

Thanks so much for the offer, Penny, but I've gotten so used to my flashing shoe that I'll just keep it for now. BTW, I've also grown very accustomed to the name "Shoesy", and even a few of my friends here call me that.
