Glad you made it home safely. There really is no consistency at airports these days so your attitude is probably the best way to approach it.
Thanks for the store recommendations. I love looking for homewares when overseas and always save some space in my case for them.

I really enjoyed your comments regarding fashion, especially footwear. Thanks, Annette. And speaking of footwear, when I return home, my suicase will include 9 additional pairs that I have purchased here in N.Y. (Gotta live up to my name.)

Annette, Thanks for the tips on the stores. I will certainly add them to my list. Shoesy, you still have some time to add more shoes before leaving NYC. Since our next trip to Paris is DEcember and January, bringing clothes for cold weather is going to make it harder to add bulky items so will be looking for small things.
Anyway, have been enjoying the postings about all of this.

I finally was able to login . . . I am still getting used to this format but am here now . . .
Annette, Thank you for the great trip report(s). It is almost like being there watching you and and Darryl being the Parisian Flaneurs. Plotting what to do when we get there next month. So many places to visit and such little time to do them all but I'll take a cue from my Baby who will be accompanying me this time. Tom said he needed a rest from those awful flights! I like the Muji Store near Saint Sulpice. It is less crowded than the Marais location Thanks again for the guided tour of our favorite city. bisous, Lilia
