Oh Sandy...that sounds dreadful! I love non-stops...esp when they don't! ;D How long were you in Paris? Hi Geordy - it was dreadful - I'm still recovering from the jet lag and long delay. My trip was "spur of the moment" booked the flight on 2/12 and left on 2/19 and was there for a week - wish you would have gotten to see the bells, they were amazing! Or wait - did you see them? I still haven't gotten around to reading all your reports - from what I have read, it sounds like you had a pretty good time - wasn't the weather awful? The weather was lousy when I was there also but didn't care as I was in Paris! And then you were ill - no fun but I'm glad you enjoyed most of your time in Paris - one of these days, we'll meet up there again!

Oh my gosh, that sounds horrible Sandy! I'm glad you made it home! It was pretty bad Annette - however, I did enjoy being in Paris - especially to see the bells and to be with friends - amazing on both counts!

I went to see the bells twice - first time was right after I arrived and got checked in to the hotel and the second time was early Sat morning - at that time, saw several people "knocking" on the bells to hear the sound of each one so I did it too - pretty cool! I have thought about attending the BBAOPFGT again - had conflicts last year - maybe this year!

It stands for Big Baked Apple. It's the annual GTG in New York City.
Maybe you can make it this year?

Ended up missing last year. We will be away the first two weeks of July but otherwise should be around since big vacation will be Paris from mid-December through New Year.

Gee I thought it was the Big Bad Apple!!! LOL...It's Baked because the event takes place to coincide with Shoesy's annual USA trip and is held late july...typically a triple H time in NYC..Hot, Hazy, Humid as we call it! I'll post possible dates in the GT section soon!
