Jody,
It is a good place to sit and people watch just across from the Jardin. We've never eaten there but there is an icream stand in the front which is a good stop on a hot day.
Dalloyau is an old standby - great pattisier, macarons and other prepared foods in the manner of Fauchon. I remember buying things from them in the 80's (the shop I went to was on Fbg. Saint-Honore). You can find a stand at Lafayette Gourmet on bd. Hausmann.

Hi Jody, We only have been to Dalloyau once, and all we had was tea. We just wanted a place to rest our feet and look at the view, which was lovely. I'd like to go back again to try the croissants, which I hear are very good. I think their pastries are good too!

Dalloyau is one of my favorites - have been to the one near Luxembourg Jardin many times - and last time I rented an apartment off Franklin Roosevelt, there was a Dalloyau right around the corner - I was in heaven!!!

I have visited France many times and all time I wonder it is my first trip. France has many good attractions and you have not bored during your tour because it has always something new for visitors and tourist.
