It's funny--the last couple weeks if I post a reply on TA with a link to something on OPF, there are invariably responses about the malware warning. I swear those people think I am purposefully trying to spread computer viruses to all of them! Some of them are suspicious that I'm only on TA to solicit renters for our apartment, so the malware thing doesn't help my credibility! LOL

Yes, it seems to be something with Chrome. I assumed it just didn't like ProBoards, but "Chrome people" have confirmed to me that they are able to get onto other ProBoards sites just fine without the malware warning. Someone told me there must be files on OPF that are infected and should be removed, but I'm not an admin and can't do that, and wouldn't know how to check them even if I could! If that's it tho, isn't it strange that Chrome blocks the whole entire site rather than just not opening those particular files if clicked on??

Maybe?? Some people said it's been happening for several months now, so I don't know if the timing lines up.

Thanks ladies. It's beyond frustrating.
I must seem like a loony being so frustrated about this but when everything works so well elsewhere, it's annoying not being able to get on this site.
I'll try the tip about entering http://www.our...etc into Chrome and see how I go.

Malware is an often used, but seldom understood term that is used to generally describe malicious programs that identity thiefs, hackers and Internet con-men use to control your computer and use it to perform tasks with you as the user being none the wiser. This article gives an easy to understand definition of Malware so that you can be better prepared to protect yourself from the number one way that cyber crooks compromise your online safety and and even steal your 'real world' identity
