At last I had time to read your blog. So pleased for you all and that Paris has cast her spell on another slave to her charms.

Lovely photos and blog. Sebastian has clearly taken to Paris. Lucky boy to have such great grandparents and visit at his age!

A lovely read. The young fella's doing well.
I doubt I'd have appreciated Paris at his age. I was a bit of a late developer. ;D

Jo, what a wonderful experience you are giving your grandson..I felt his excitement at finally seeing the tower..(but I didn't actually get that experience until I was 34! ) and then seeing it twinkle! And the food! And the spending time doing what he wants to do..sounds ideal!

All that lovely walking reminds me of our recent trip. It already seems like ages ago.

Was there with my dear Tim as we were celebrating our 15th Anniversary!

Well done Jo , not forgetting Den and Seb of course. Your love for Paris and them really shines through your blog. Pleased to see how you enjoyed your birthday, all the belated best from me I trust Seb's mother hasn't seen the wine glass ;D ;D

Jody, both, lol. Seb is very tall for 8 and a half and I'm only 5 feet 2 inches.

I've been to various Chez Clements over the years and rarely been disappointed...only when I had my mouth set on a daily special and it was sold out! Btw the raw bar, potato puree, assiettes, grilled and roitisserie meats, not to mention desserts....there is always something well prepared, presented, and tasty! Glad they took such good care of you! Yes Seb does look tall for his age...esp. in that Chef's toque..which I smiled to see him happily wear....
