For some reason after I turned 40 a few years back I decided I needed a tattoo....or two. Anyway, after returning from Paris last May I had one in mind that I finally had done this weekend. I realize tattoos aren't everyone's cup of tea but it makes me happy

I too have an Eiffel Tower tattoo on my foot which includes the initials and birth dates of my two daughters worked into the first floor. I'll try to post a pic of it another day.

Are you going to get other well known landmarks done as well? While I don't have Jo's deathly fear of needles all I can associate with tattoos is pain.

I got my ears pierced at the age of 30. My husband had always thought piercing ears was kinda barbaric so he didn't want me to do it. Then, when all my friends got their ears pierced, I made the decision to do it too, but I didn't tell Shlomo I was going to do it.

Now hearing about all of these virgin ears I feel a bit of a rebel....I've four piercings in each ear and four tattoos (three on my feet and one on the inside of my wrist)....and if you know tattoos they are very addictive, therefore I'm on the hunt for an idea for a 5th tattoo which of course will have a Parisian theme! Any ideas Belladonna?
Funny thing is I'm a professional Social Worker and work in the Family Court System and so you'd never know I have all of my piercings and tatts as I keep them well hidden! LOL
