When my two-year-old daughter saw the Eiffel Tower this Christmas, she screamed "Ratatouille (from the animated movie of a mouse cooking in Paris)". Now, we're watching the movie and she called out to me saying, "Eiffel Tower, mommy, Eiffel Tower!"

I've added a couple of pics from Place de la Concorde ... playing around with the "color" after watching Midnight in Paris again. =) www.33avenue.com/pariscolor/

That's what is called "seeing Paris in a different light". Perhaps it's the colour of love.

I love your pictures - I was getting used to your B&W but these colored ones at the Place de la Concorde are fabulous!

Thanks!
It's actually the first trip I tried photographing Paris in black and white. I really like it. =) Sometimes it can be hard to capture the mood when it's all grey, cloudy and then the grey/beige buildings. Or, I guess that's the mood ... but I find it more dramatic in black and white. Except the rooftops, which are wonderful as is in color.
