actually, we're going to head out and try it this morning -- with all the publicity everywhere (the PR attached to this is absolutely everywhere) -- and the fact that the inaugural weekend is free, we're a little skittish that it will be heaving with people, but we're going to attempt it.

Another exalt from me, brings back nice memories of a day trip to Compiegne a couple of years ago.
There were more people! it was market day and a wedding in the church.
We had a lovely meal at the cafe at the side of the Chateau, where madame obviously took graet pride in her establishment. I had spaghetti carbonara, served as the French do with an egg yolk on top to mix in. One well known Danish member of our party was horrified and convinced we would get food poisoning!LOL!
We spent so much time in the cafe, the Chateau visit was a whistle stop tour!

Sunshine - That's great. They've really been hyping this museum so I'm very keen on hearing what you think.
Denise and Sandy - LOL about the raw egg and the food poisoning. Surely, Madame wouldn't allow that to happen.
