Haven't been to that one (yet, lol). We only got to the left bank twice this trip (Les Papilles and Chez L'Ami Jean). Another one for the list.

We have walked by this restaurant several times lately as we ordered a custom shipping crate for our paintings from Bois Détail just up the street. We haven't eaten there, but friends of ours really like this little restaurant.
We have enjoyed the wine bar just across the street. You could start there, and then cross over to the restaurant.

Yes I saw it featured on Bon Jour...it will be on my next trip list! Look forward to reading OPF reviews! *I'm going to make the goat cheese stuffed chicken thighs featured on the same issue of Bon Jour tomorrow! Or maybe later as it is now snowing on Oct 29th in NYC!

I saw on the news that you were going to get snow - hope it doesn't snow too much - Oct. 29th is way too early for the white stuff!! And by the way, please keep it there!! LOL!

Annette - No, we're not in Paris yet. We'll arrive next week. Am in the throes of finishing the pre-trip checklist and packing. Can't wait to arrive.

That's good to hear, Travelluver! We walked by a few times while we were there in Dec/Jan, but I couldn't get hubby to take the bait. I must see to it that he reads the articles above before we head back in July.

we walked by it too as it is very near the hotel we stay in before getting into our apt. But it was closed! It's on the list for March as we are staying at the hotel again. I am a fan on facebook.
The Bon Jour Paris link is wrong it is not open 7 days a week, closed Mondays

I'm a facebook fan too, Jody! That may be why Darryl wasn't overly excited about reserving there--I had told him about the pic they posted of the nice big rabbit they were preparing for dinner one night

The Paris-Update blog posted a review of this place and it was less than stellar. It made me think of my experience and realize, after seeing the photos, that I had NOT eaten here -the place I was at was Comptoir de la Gastronomie in the 1st - OOPS! (This was verified by the postcard I fished out). Sorry! Now the place I DID eat at was very good...

I'm back from Paris. While there, met up with friends, two couples who had dined there and gave rave comments.
