I've thoroughly enjoyed the pictures you have posted as well as the little video of the chateau where the wedding guests were heading. It is also the custom here in my area of Canada to have the cars blaring their horns as they follow the wedding party away from the spot of the ceremony (if different than the reception). Thanks again for sharing.

Yes, the French are usually very reserved and I think being afforded a proper social setting to make some noise is an opportunity they relish. Apparently there must also be a tradition at weddings to allow at least one wedding crasher.
