Grandson #2 arrived yesterday, healthy and happy--all 8 lbs. 1 ounce of him! His name is Lex Darryl. I'll post a pic soon. We couldn't be happier!

Our American niece with her French husband, while living in Paris, made it a rule that at home all conversation was in French one day and English the next. Their little 4 year old could happily converse with the local shopkeepers in French and switch seamlessly to English for the benefit of her English relations. She would even change language in mid sentence, without missing a beat.
